How do I change my computer's microphone settings?
Have you granted access to your microphone in Chrome but it still does not work? Then it's probably the settings on your computer or laptop.

Click on the Windows icon at the bottom left of your screen and then on the cogwheel icon with “Settings”.
Now click on “Privacy” and then “Microphone”.
Select "Change" and then check “Allow apps to access your microphone”.
After giving access to your microphone, you can choose which apps can use your microphone.
How do I change the system settings on iMac/MacBook?
Go to the Apple icon on the top left of your screen and click on “System Preferences”.
In the next screen, select “Security and Privacy” and then “Privacy”.
Select “Microphone”.
Select Google Chrome.
You may have to restart Google Chrome for it to work.
