How do I install the Webphone app?

To use the Rinkel Webphone you need Google Chrome on your laptop or computer.

You can also download the Webphone app in Google Chrome.

The Webphone is then downloaded as an app onto your computer, so you can quickly click it open and get started right away. We’ll walk you through how to install the app on your Mac or Windows computer!

It is not yet possible to use the Webphone with Edge, Safari, Firefox or any other browser.

Please note: The Rinkel Webphone cannot be used on a tablet or smartphone and is only accessible in the Google Chrome browser.

How do I download the Webphone app on my Windows computer?

1. Go to the My Rinkel Webphone and set your permissions.

   1. Option 1: You're in the Webphone. Go to the address bar and click, at the end of the bar, on the square with the arrow. You'll get a dropdown menu. Select Install Rinkel Webphone.

   2. Option 2: You're in the Webphone. Go to the end of the address bar and click on the three dots. Click on Install My Rinkel Webphone.

2. Next, click on Open.

3. The Webphone app will be opened and automatically added to your desktop.

How do I download the Webphone app on my Mac?

1. Open Google Chrome and go to the Rinkel Webphone. Set your permissions.

   1. Option 1: You're in the Webphone. Go to the address bar and click, at the end of the bar, on the square with the arrow. You'll get a dropdown menu. Select Install Rinkel Webphone.

   2. Option 2: You're in the Webphone. Go to the end of the address bar and click on the three dots. Click on Install My Rinkel Webphone.

2. Now, open Finder and look for Chrome apps. You'll find the Rinkel Webphone app in this folder. Drag it to your Dock (the bar with all of your apps, usually at the bottom of your screen).

3. Done! Click on the Webphone app from your Dock to start the Webphone right away.
