If you can’t take a call, are already on a call, or are closed, you have the option of activating voicemail.
When the caller leaves a message, we will immediately send you an email and/or a notification in the app. We even send an MP3 file with the recorded message as an attachment. So you can listen to it anytime, anywhere (even on your smartphone!).
This article will walk you through the different notification settings:

Managing notifications
First, we explain how to manage notifications:
In My Rinkel, click on your name or the icon with the little person in it (top right).
This takes you to “Profile settings”.
Scroll down to "Notification preferences". Here you can indicate whether you want to receive an email or not.
Please note: It is important to select “Email” in your notification preferences (as explained above). Otherwise, no user will receive a notification.
Adding an email address
Would you like to add an extra email address for us to send a voicemail notification to?
In My Rinkel go to “Numbers”.
Click on the cogwheel to select the number you want.
Add the email address under “Voicemail”.
Now you will receive an email at your own email address and at the additional email address when you have received a voicemail.
