How do I install the beta version of My Rinkel? (iPhone & Android)

Please be aware that beta tests exist to ensure that the public version does not contain any errors. The last (possible) errors will be removed during the beta testing.

How do I install the beta version of the iPhone app?

Please note: to install the current beta version on your iPhone, you need at least iOS version 11.0.

1. First, install the TestFlight app from the App Store

2. Open this link from Apple Testflight on your phone

3. Click on "Accept" (see image) to install the beta version. The beta version replaces the normal installation of the app.

The beta version is now installed! You can tell you are running the beta version by the orange dot in front of the app name.

How do I install the My Rinkel beta version on my Android?

To use the My Rinkel app, your smartphone must be running Android version 7.0 (Nougat) or higher.

1. Open the Google Play store

2. Search for the "My Rinkel" app

3. Scroll down until you see the heading "Become a Beta Tester"

4. Click "Join Now"

5. In the pop-up, click "Become a Member"

The beta registration is now automatically processed by Google. When processing is complete, you will be offered an update in the Google Play Store. Once you have installed this update, you will have the latest beta version.

To uninstall and return to the standard version, follow the same steps, but this time choose the "Quit" button.
