What are the costs for a 088 number series request?

088 series are monitored by Dutch Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM). This means we have to request the series from them, which can take up to 3 weeks. Also, keep in mind the following administration costs:

Why can I only buy a 088 number in batches?

088 numbers are issued in a series of 100. For example, 088-100100 to 088-100199. This means only the last digits of your number series differs, which is ideal for multi-department companies or team members, since this allows you to keep a single recognizable number.

When will my 088 number series be active?

As soon as we have received all your information, we will contact the ACM directly and apply for your series. The application process can take up to three weeks. Would you rather be reachable right away? Then choose an 085 number.

Can I use WhatsApp Business with my 088 number?

No, unfortunately WhatsApp Business cannot be used in combination with 088 numbers. Do you want WhatsApp Business? Then use a 085 number.

Do I always get the number series of my choice?

It is possible that your desired number series it not available or has been requested by someone else. In cases of the latter, a lottery takes place. If the other party wins the lottery, the ACM will then propose a different number series to you.

From whom do I receive invoices for my 088 number?

You will receive an invoice from Rinkel in addition to a one-time invoice from the ACM. Unfortunately, we are unable to bundle all the fees together. The ACM invoice will be sent to the contact details you provided in your original application.

Do I have to use all 088 numbers?

No, you can decide how many of the numbers you wish to use from the series.You only pay for the numbers that you use, which makes a 088 series via Rinkel ideal for growing organizations.
