How do I get started with the Rinkel Webphone?

Being able to make calls from your computer or laptop is a real bonus: the screens are larger, it’s easier to multitask, and everything’s in one place. We’re glad you’ve decided to make the switch!

With the Rinkel Webphone you can transfer calls, make calls, manage your call history, share contacts with your colleagues, import contacts in bulk and more!

1. Which browser should I use to make calls on the Webphone?

To use the Rinkel Webphone you need Google Chrome on your laptop or computer.

Please note: It’s not possible to use the Webphone on a tablet or smartphone.


2. Where is the Webphone in My Rinkel?

When you log into the My Rinkel personal client space, you will find the "Webphone" button on the top left of the page.

3. Which permissions do I have to set to make use of the Webphone?

When you log in, you will be prompted by the following message:

Provide access to start using the Rinkel Webphone

If you give acces to the Webphone microphone and notifications, you will be ready to enjoy the benefits of the Webphone. To receive calls, just make sure you are in the forwarding of the number as the user you are logged in as. This is not necessary for making calls.
