How do I export and import contacts from Google Cloud?

Please note: instructions may differ depending on the type of phone.

Export

1. On your computer, go to contacts.google in Google Cloud

2. Log in to your Google Cloud

3. Select “Export” from the menu

4. Choose the contacts you want to export

5. Export contact list as Google CSV

6. You have now downloaded a file with all your (selected) contacts from Google Cloud or your device. This file is called “contacts.csv” (file name may vary from device to device)

Import

1. You downloaded the .vcf or .csv file in step 5 of exporting from Google Cloud.

2. Go to the Webphone in My Rinkel

3. Click on the square icon on the top left, next to the cogwheel

4. Click on “Google Cloud”

5. Drag or select the file you exported from Google Cloud

6. Click on the green "Import file" button

7. If the import is successful, you will see a black bar at the bottom with “Import of contacts is complete”

Privacy of contact details in My Rinkel

You are responsible for safeguarding your data in My Rinkel. It is important to be aware of this because with the Rinkel Webphone, you will import several contacts into the web environment (by synchronising contacts via your mobile phone or cloud for example).

For example, we always recommend that you (and your colleagues) switch on a screen saver when you leave the workplace and always protect your computer with a password.
